Initial Creative Consultation:
Before we get started, we need to learn a little more about you and your business! We have prepared a thorough creative brief questionnaire that asks poignant questions like “What differentiates you from your competitors?” & “What appeals to your target market?”
Let’s talk about your company history, goals, and marketing strategies in detail. Let’s figure out what’s working and what needs improving. Let’s find the right private label manufacturer to make your private label skin care, cosmetic or food product dreams a reality.
Quote & Agreement:
You will get a detailed quote, within a couple of days after the consultation, which includes pricing and the general terms of the project. A signed agreement and deposit is required for project work to begin.
Research, Development & Design:
Research generally includes visiting stores, buying samples, researching online etc. We do lots of brainstorming and consider the history of your company, your current market positioning, industry trends, and your future goals. Depending on your project, development and design could mean anything from sourcing the right manufacturers to doing complete packaging design; brainstorming packaging accessories to creating other finishing touches to help your product stand out in the sea of gourmet foods and beauty solutions on shelf.
What are you printing? What substrate are you printing on? Do you care about sustainability in your printing process? What is your budget? These are just some of the questions we will ask when determining the right printing solution for you. LAUNCH Private Label can help with the entire process – even if you don’t have a clue what you need!
You will need stunning, clean and bright images to allow your product to shine visually. If you don’t have any photos, take advantage of my affordable product photography services. These images can be used in trade show materials, marketing materials, on your website, in social media marketing… wherever you need them. You will get rights to all images and we do not charge any transfer or usage fees.
Product Launch, On-Going Support & Marketing:
At this point we help you with any further support you need. We can help you develop branding and marketing strategies to launch your product and keep your brand growing. We can assist with the development and execution of seasonal promotions, writing engaging copy, creating direct mail and online campaigns and more. Your brand and products, whether private label or not, must be talked about to be heard… don’t sit in the dark!
Design is an investment for your business– your visual identity is what separates you from your competitors. What you will get with LAUNCH Private Label is bang for your buck, and great client service.
Since each project is unique, we have found it most helpful to offer two ways of pricing-– a flat project price (generally for larger projects) or an hourly billable rate for smaller projects.
Hourly Billable rate for Creative Work: $70.00
Consultation rate: $75.00
A Little More on Pricing:
If you aren’t familiar with pricing in the design industry, please keep reading…
There are 3 pricing structures more or less.
HIGH PRICING: This is where most agencies and medium-large design studios fall. The pricing is anywhere from $125/hr+ and small projects start around $5000-$8000. Agencies and larger studios are great if you have the luxury of budget and time.
MEDIUM PRICING: Small studios and seasoned designers fall under this category. Pricing is generally $50-$100/hr. and you get the one-on-one attention, as well as shorter timelines.
LOW PRICING: This is where most students (wanting projects for portfolio purposes) or recent graduates fall. This is a good option if your budget is very low, but keep factors like timeliness, communication and basic business skills in mind.
